Hi! I’m Holly! I believe every family deserves compassionate, evidence-based support during one of life’s most transformative seasons. My approach combines professional training, academic study, and lived experience to help parents feel confident, supported, and cared for as they adjust to life with a new baby. I hold an Associates degree in Psychology and am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Developmental Psychology. My long-term goal is to earn a master’s degree, become a licensed professional counselor with a focus on children, families, and maternal mental health. Alongside my education, I am a certified postpartum doula, Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), certified pediatric sleep consultant, and newborn care specialist.
Before becoming a homeschooling mother of four, I spent more than a decade working with babies, young children, and families. Those experiences have given me a deep understanding of infant development while reinforcing that every family’s story is unique. One of the foundations of my care is a trauma-informed lens. I recognize that pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period can be deeply joyful while also bringing unexpected challenges, previous life experiences, birth trauma, anxiety, grief, or overwhelming emotions to the surface.
I strive to create a safe, judgment-free environment where parents feel heard, respected, and empowered. Rather than asking, “What’s wrong?” I seek to understand, “What has this family experienced, and how can I best support them?” My academic interests include maternal mental health, infant attachment, developmental psychology, and family systems. I believe a baby’s well-being is deeply connected to the health of the entire family. By supporting parents emotionally, physically, and practically, we create an environment where both babies and caregivers can thrive.
Whether I’m providing breastfeeding support, newborn care, sleep guidance, or simply offering a calm and reassuring presence during those early weeks, my goal is to meet families where they are with empathy, encouragement, and evidence-based care. It is an incredible privilege to walk alongside parents during this season, helping them build confidence while nurturing strong, healthy relationships that can last a lifetime.
